This is currently a placeholder for stuff I have been thinking of on the subject as part of a discussion (or rather my interested inquiries into christian beliefs) on Sharon T. Rose's "Swords and Sigils" holiday special stories. It's currently in draft status, this post is just insurance that it will, one day, be posted.
Btw, the heavily Christianity-centric three specials are indeed just that, specials, and anybody with an allergy against religion of any kind should have no problem reading the main story. In fact I quite recommend her stories to anybody and everybody who is interested in traditional fantasy (Swords and Sigils) or scientific (Space and Time, Guardians of the Ancients) fiction.
